Avalanche to Jam in 5 steps


We had the usual strawberry avalanche - 4.5 kilos of it!


This year - a new adventure. Strawberry jam. Step 1. Cut the 880 g. of fruit.

Step 2. Add juice of 1 lemon and cook in low heat

Step 3. Sterilize the jars. 5 jars into a pre-heated oven, 150 deg C for 10 minutes

Step 4. Add 880g of jam sugar (sugar with pectin) on high heat to bring the mixture to a boil.

Step 5. Into the jam jar!
